New School Grads Rock • Renae Reynolds
Renae Reynolds (MA Theories of Urban Practice, 2015), center seated, at the Beach 41st Houses in Rockaway. Renae is working with the U.S. Forest Service to coordinate the Landscapes of Resilience Project. Through interviews, workshops, and other community engagement processes, Renae and her colleagues are helping residents to rebuild and care for areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy. She also continues her work with the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, a highly active and engaged community organization dedicated to the just and equitable use of the great Rockaway beaches and landscapes.
